It’s hard to find a rental right now. We hope these tips help.
Hello, it’s a beautiful day to talk about real estate.
One thing I wanted to talk to you today is about rentals.
If you are looking for a rental, here’s a few quick tips that
hopefully will help you find a place. You need to really keep
an eye on the internet. We can sign you up on the MLS,
if that’s something you’re interested in contact us and we’ll
get you set up on there.
You can also look on Zillow, Craigslist, and Homes.com
Those are probably the biggest sites, so be on all of those,
check on all of those a few times a day.
If you’re in the MLS, you get those listings every 10 minutes,
or every hour as they become available. If you see something
you need to act quickly. Let us know, or if you’re on Zillow,
Craigslist, or any of those, respond to whoever is doing the
rental as quickly as you can.
Once you get to a place where you’re waiting for an application,
and you get an application to fill out, you need to fill out the
application as completely as possible.
The more you fill it out the better so be really super careful
about that and fill out the application completely, and you need
to just keep on applying.
If you have a pet, it’s really hard right now, dogs especially.
There are very few rentals out there, but you’ll need to apply
even harder, more often, and it will probably take you a little
bit longer to find a place.
